I am available to speak to your group about the subject of Navajo rugs.  In my presentations, I show actual examples of Navajo rugs as well as photos.  I explain the styles and types of Navajo rugs beginning with so-called Chief's Blankets continuing through the development of regional styles and on through the present time.  I talk about the interesting characters that influenced the design development in the early times and eccentric characters involved the Revival period in the second quarter of the 20th century.  I also talk about the present situation in the world of Navajo rugs and how to buy a Navajo rug.  The presentations include demonstrations showing how to determine fake Navajo rugs.  Questions are encouraged during the talk
